ARTISODES on WUCF TV features the art of superheroes

Posted by Jennifer Cook on

This week on WUCF TV’s Artisodes, go inside a Central Florida special effects shop that brings to life characters of all shapes and sizes.

Gotham City FX has created some of the world’s favorite characters in their Sanford shop.  We’ll show you the art behind this full service FX shop that specializes in everything from design to fabrication.

“Because we’re all creative people we all do our part,” said Chris Oktavec, caster at Gotham City FX.    “We all have different areas of expertise, so once you get a group of people like that together, it’s not really work, it’s just fun.”

And a secret identity unveiled! Meet the south Florida man responsible for drawing Captain America!

WUCF’s Artisodes airs each Thursday on WUCF TV at 8 p.m.
