ARTISODES on WUCF TV features unique motorcycle art

Posted by Jennifer Cook on

On this week’s edition of WUCF Artisodes, meet a man who turned fixing watches into an art.

Mark Nuriel never thought of himself as much of an artist. Nuriel originally fixed broken watches and sold them on eBay.  Soon, he decided to make use of the spare watch parts by creating stunning and intricate miniature motorcycles. With “Secondhand Choppers” Nuriel discovered the love for art and creativity that allowed him to walk away from addiction.

“It was my second chance at life. It is absolutely amazing to wake up and look forward to going to work because if you find that happiness, nothing in the world can take it away,” said Nuriel.  “If I continue to create and nobody appreciates it, I’m still going to create. It is what I do and I found that passion and nothing will take it away. ”

WUCF Artisodes airs each Thursday on WUCF TV at 8 p.m.
