National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month

Posted by Janice Sante on

PBS offers a range of resources to support National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month including videos and lesson plans that reinforce the values of kindness and empathy and help educators foster resilience in students of all ages. These resources draw from lessons in "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood", "Sesame Street", and "The Bad Kids" and offer a range of timely discussion topics and tools for the classroom. This includes, strategies to help kids and teenagers cope with the stresses of everyday life; proactive approaches to help kids forge new friendships; and insightful conversation-starters that look at the responsibilities of being a supportive member of the community.

These PBS LearningMedia resources are available for Grades PreK-5 and Grades 6-12!
