New look for favorite WUCF Programming

Posted by Jennifer Cook on

WUCF TV’s Emmy Award-winning magazine show, ONE, is getting a new look, feel and sound in the new year.  Starting Feb. 1, 2015, ONE becomes ONE Central Florida.  The new name is joined by a new logo, new music and a new airtime on WUCF TV.

“The name hopes to better reflect the community in which we serve,” said producer Mark Greenwald. “The program will continue to highlight the extraordinary stories of people, places and events across the area.”

ONE Central Floridaairs the first Sunday of every month at 6:00 p.m.

In February, ONE Central Florida takes you into world of pinball.  Then, get up early and join a team of women rowers from the Orlando Rowing Club.  We’ll take you to the skies with a female fighter pilot and go inside a Central Florida volunteer group that helps save animals that are too sick or injured for shelter care.

ONE Central Florida premieres Sunday, February 1 at 6:00 p.m.

About ONE Central Florida
The monthly magazine show, ONE Central Florida, highlights some of the best and lesser-known treasures our area has to offer. Central Florida is home to millions of people and thousands of local businesses, organizations and groups. But in the end, we are ONE community…and these are our stories. The locally produced show tells the stories of the people and places that make Central Florida a unique place to live. The program gives Central Florida PBS viewers a front-row seat for the greatest stories in their own backyards.
