WUCF ARTISODES profiles Cirque du Solei musician

Posted by Jennifer Cook on

On this week’s edition of WUCF Artisodes, meet the man behind the music of Orlando’s Cirque du Solei’s La Nouba.

Renowned conductor and musician Benoit Glazer believes art and music belong to everyone, and he works hard to spread that message.   When he’s not conducting La Nouba, he’s running Timucua, an in-home concert series that is free to the public and streams online.
“Everything about what I do compliments each other,” said Glazer.  “Having these different cycles for me is very important.  I need a hobby that I enjoy, and that I’m passionate about because I’d go nuts playing the same show 10 times a week.  But that’s what Cirque is about, finding that way to be creative every single night.”
See his work and how he finds inspiration Thursday on Artisodes.
WUCF Artisodes airs each Thursday on WUCF TV at 8 p.m.
