WUCF Education Reads to Children at the Coalition for the Homeless

Posted by Janice Sante on

Today WUCF Education visited the Curious Corner at the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida and read to some amazing kids!

April’s theme was Family Trips and featured a new episode of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood called Tiger Family Trip.  During this visit our WUCF team member, Angela Rivera, read a fun story called Toot and Puddle.  In this story the main characters are two pig brothers who although have different ideas about traveling, both agree being together at home is best.

After reading the story, Angela helped the children decorate a trolley and glue the characters from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.  The children also viewed one of the Daniel Tiger episodes found on PBS LearningMedia.

Thank you Angela Rivera, our WUCF team member for providing the children with a great experience!
