WUCF TV’s ARTISODES features The Raven

Posted by Jennifer Cook on

Edgar Allen Poe’s famed poem, The Raven, is a Halloween favorite.  On this week’s Artisodes, meet a Lake Mary man who creates visual narratives of this misunderstood creature.

“The image of a raven and crow is kind of, they’ve gotten a bad rap,” says artist Larry Vienneau.  Inspired by his experiences in Alaska, Vienneau has developed a passion for these animals.  “A lot of times I come up with the story first, first the title, then the story, and then I write my narrative and make my print.”

See how these stories intertwine with the art on this week’s Artisodes.

WUCF’s Artisodes airs each Thursday on WUCF TV at 8 p.m.
