Q. Why is WUCF TV encouraging its members to consider joining its sustainer membership program?
A. The program will:

  • Provide WUCF TV with a stable and predictable source of income.
  • Improve our membership annual renewal rate.
  • Reduce the quantity of mail.
  • Reduce the cost of supporter interactions.
  • Decrease our dependency on our fund drives.

Q. How do I reach the membership department if I have questions about my sustaining membership?
A. Please call member services at 407-823-1300 during business hours or send an email to memberservices@wucftv.org. You may also leave a voicemail after hours and we will return your call the next business day.

 

Q. I’d like to update the credit/debit card or checking account information on my sustaining membership.
A. There are several ways to update your account:

  • Call member services at 407-823-1300 during business hours.
  • If you send an email message to memberservices@wucftv.org we will reply by phone to update your account information. For security reasons, please do not send your information via email.
  • If you received a letter requesting updated information, you may use the enclosed form to respond.

   

Q. WUCF TV contacted me about updating the expiration date for my debit or credit card. How should I reply?
A. There are several ways to reply:

  • Call member services at 407-823-1300.
  • If you received a letter requesting your expiration date, you may use the enclosed form to respond.

 

Q. If my card expiration date changed but my card number did not change, why do I have to give WUCF TV my card number again?
A. In order to remain PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant, WUCF TV does not store complete credit card numbers in our database—only the last four digits. So, to update your information, we must enter the credit card number again, in its entirety.

 

Q. I would like to increase or decrease my monthly donation.
A. There are two ways to do this:

  • Click here and complete this form with your new monthly donation.
  • Call member services at 407-823-1300.

 

Q. I’d like to make a single contribution in addition to my monthly giving.
A. Click here to make a single contribution.

 

Q. I’d like to stop my monthly sustaining contribution.
A. You can stop your Sustaining membership at any time.

  • Just give us a call member services at 407-823-1300 during business hours.

Q. I’d like one of the “thank you” gifts WUCF TV is offering now.
A. During our fund drives you can elect to receive a thank you gift or combination of thank you gifts according to your level of support.

Just call member services as 407-823-1300 or send an email message to memberservices@WUCF TV.org. We’ll verify your mailing address and then send the gift to you.

 

Q.  Are my monthly donations tax deductible?
A. Yes. WUCF TV accepts gifts under the overview of the University of Central Florida Foundation, a nonprofit, tax exempt 501(c) (3) organization. Your contribution to WUCF TV is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. In January each year, WUCF TV will send you written confirmation of your contribution during the previous calendar year. Please consult your tax advisor or attorney for information about specific situations. WUCF TV’s EIN: 59-6211823.

 

Q. Does WUCF TV sell my name to companies or other organizations?
A. When you donate to WUCF TV we will not sell, trade or share your name, email address or other contact information with any other organization.
